Who is responsible for the privacy of your personal details?
Mammytalks BV is a registered trade name of COSADE B.V. This company (hereafter 'Mommytalks') is responsible for processing your personal details in conformity with the Personal Data Protection Act.
Which data does Mommytalks collect and what does Mommytalks use the data for?
In order to deliver Mommytalks' services, Mommytalks records your name, email address, details of the videos you watch, samples you request and comments you enter, but only after you have registered. This information is exclusively used to provide the agreed service to you.
In addition, Mommytalks can use your email address to send you electronic newsletters if you gave permission for it when you registered your email address. With these newsletters, Mommytalks can keep you informed of the Mommytalks service and of any products or services from partners selected by Mommytalks.
Cookies and surfing behaviour
The Mommytalks site use so-called cookies. They are tiny text files left behind on your computer when you visit the site. These cookies help make the Mommytalks site more user-friendly. (For example, Mommytalks can remember your login name during your visit, meaning you do not have to enter it repeatedly.)
In specific cases, Mommytalks uses third-party (IT) services for operational or technical objectives, for example the hosting of servers. In that respect, your data may be stored on servers based in the United States. In those cases, Mommytalks only collaborates with parties that are certified under the EU-US Safe Harbour agreement, which guarantees that your data is adequately protected.
Rights of appeal, access and correction
As set out above, Mommytalks only uses your email address to send you newsletters provided you have agreed to it. You can revoke your agreement at any time, or appeal against the use of your data for the newsletters. This option will be available underneath every newsletter. In that case, you will no longer receive electronic newsletters from Mommytalks.
Apart from that, you can always ask Mommytalks for an overview of your data and to correct or delete them, if the information is inaccurate or irrelevant to the stated objectives. Emails to that effect must be addressed to info@Mommytalks.nl.
Mommytalks has taken suitable technical and organisational measures to prevent any unauthorised access to and any loss of your information. This includes secure storage of the information, and encryption of the data exchanged between you and the web server.
Registration with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (DPA)
